How this is calculated & assumptions
Board count assumes a uniform gap and a single ripped board on the final run. Linear metres = boards × deck length; stock lengths round up after the waste allowance.
- Joist/bearer counts are indicative only — spans must be sized to AS 1684 for the timber, span and load. TBC.
- Doesn’t yet account for board joins, picture-frame borders or breaker boards.
- Default 450 mm joist / 1800 mm bearer spacing — confirm with Dan.
